Falkensteiner Camping Grubhof

Welcome to Grubhof
At Grubhof, the Saalach flows right past the campsite and the mountains are always in view.
A hike up into the mountains? Or a bike ride through the valley? Or carving your way down snowy slopes? If you’re here with the kids, they’ll find their own rhythm soon enough, and with a dog, there’s always another path to follow.
Sit down at the restaurant, have something good from the region, and stay a little longer than planned. Afterwards, maybe some time by the water, a quieter moment, or just slowing down in the sauna.

What our guests say
We stayed at this great campsite for the third time over Easter. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we checked in at reception. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pitches and the view are just great. Even when it rains, the water drains very well on the gravelled ground. The sanitary facilities are very modern and always clean. There is also enough space to dry your towels, for example. The Wellness Alm is decorated and furnished with a lot of love. We had a very nice long Easter weekend at the Grubhof and will definitely be back.
Fantastic vacation at Camping Grubhof
Perfectly located campsite on the Saalach with absolutely top-quality sanitary facilities, well-maintained grounds, great restaurant with delicious food - always freshly prepared and with incredibly friendly service - you have to find staff like that nowadays!!! The town of Lofer is a 20-minute walk away, supermarkets, restaurants and petrol station - everything is close by. Perfect relaxation, hiking, cycling, wellness, kayaking ... everything is possible ... WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK !!!
We have really enjoyed the time in Grubhof camping. Well equiped campsite surrounded by beautiful nature. We were lucky to have also nice weather so it was possible to have refreshing swim in the river. Everything was clean, we really liked the concept of XL bathrooms. We will be back soon!
Lovely campsite with nice spacious pitches. Amongst the best facilities I've experienced, modern, spotlessly clean and spacious showers. The shop had tasty fresh bread, but a limited range of fresh vegetables.
Great to be able to walk/cycle along the river directly from the campsite to the nearby villages, although disappointing that there was nowhere for the dog to run off the lead. We enjoyed the gondola up the mountain from nearby Lofer, and watched some brave people canoeing!
It was amazing to be able to take the bus to Zell am See for free using the guest card provided, what a gorgeous town.
The most beautiful, well organized, clean and pleasant camping site we’ve ever been to. Showers are very clean and spacious. All showers in our area were fit for family use with a lot of space to put your bag and hang your towels.
There’s a mini market at the area and a restaurant and a cafe. We didn’t use them but they seemed super pleasant. There’s a very sweet playground for kids and hiking trails. There are specific streets where dogs are allowed and there’s even a place to wash your dog. They also offer some activities.
Also there’s a washer and a dryer and a very clean and pleasant dishwashing place. And of course all the other essentials.
